Many overseas Pakistani, by and large, don’t assimilate into the societies that they live in - especially in Europe and North America - and that may partly explain why they continue to be obsessed with Pakistan and its politics - most of them have not invested too heavily into the politics of their host societies and feel more attached to the country that they were born in but left - of course it is also true that most of these overseas Pakistanis will never put their money where they mouth is and never come back to Pakistan to bring about the change that they say — ad nauseam — Pakistan needs
