The way “Subaru” and Meili interacted last ep brought up the imagery of a sexual assault of a child. It genuinely made me so upset and uncomfortable. Imagine someone in your body doing something like that to a kid… The guilt is unimaginable. I feel so bad for Meili… My girl…

This episode is genuinely one of my favorites in the series. It was handled incredibly well. I would love to write an entire analysis of it and the parallels between Subaru and Meili but twitter is a bit of a difficult format for it

@Yuann6969 I recommend rewatching the episode with these themes in mind. Especially examining Meili's character through that lense
