@TFaddy It shocks me that speed limit on Remutaka road to the Wairarapa is 100km I would never drive that speed on this road.

@SarahMarieOB Be reassured just borrowed your wonderful book from my local Library in New Zealand. Our son who is 12 has just been diagnosed as Autistic & I am finding your book so helpful. I have just recommended it to a Teen life course we are attending to support our son. Next step buy it.

It’s too early for a PLR statement on So, I’m Autistic, realistically at least, which is probably why seeing a 0 loans £0.00 statement a bit of an illogical gut punch. She’s too new, that’s why the statement is empty.

@WCC_Archives @nzms1990 Snap ! Possibly taken by Charles William Robert Mann or by his wife Constance Mary Elizabeth Mann the dog appears in many school photos from this period. What a great way to relax the kids and the dog must have loved the attention. What a star. natlib.govt.nz/records/405360…

We love pets at WCC archives, and every once in a while we find an adorable historical example, eg: this pup from Seatoun School standard one class of 1928. (There’s no teacher in sight, so we assume this dog had a talent for scholarship and a gift for moulding young minds)

@heritagenz Never knew about this will have to visit one day. In Dublin O'Connell Bridge which the parade today will walk across was reconstructed in 1877 and renamed after Daniel in 1882 when works completed photo @NLIreland

Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga
In 1880, the residents of Ophir needed a name for their new bridge. Deciding that naming things after Queen Vic had been "rather overdone", they instead went with Daniel O'Connell Bridge, dedicating the project to the Irish politician celebrated as "The Liberator". #StPatricksDay
