I'm sorry, but this logic is a bit detached from reality. For some, five years isn't a matter of "lack of patience," but rather a practical issue of cost of living, liquidity, and risk tolerance. Enduring limited retirement funds after decades of work doesn't mean you can arbitrarily demand that others lock their money in highly volatile assets for five years. Understanding what you have is important, but don't glorify patience as a virtue and ignore the risks.
