@miraoreck @fabulavancouver I grew up one building over at Alma-Blackwell on Adanac, Vancouvers most recent non-profit demoviction site! 46 great units will be torn down and low income/single moms raising family’s will be displaced and forced to play huge rent increases. A very sad state of affairs!

I wish there was a rule the anyone redeveloping a site had to post a picture of what was there before. I find I can never remember, the second it disappears. This is behind Uprising Breads, Adanac and Commercial. It was an old two-storey blue apartment? A house? Other stuff?

@CraigCameronWV @vancolour Mo made a comment about lawyers defending private property. You said he makes “stupid remarks”. I’m not going to debate you about it, but the comments don’t seem equal to me.
Whatever you think of Mo or other people, I hope you hold your self to a higher standard in the future

He may be a “media sensation” but he’s not above debate, much as he might hate it.

I know it's not like holding a printed sign for social media with your saddest/most super serious face, but maybe the Government of Canada should immediately seize the assets of Russian oligarchs – including all real estate holdings – that are currently within our borders.

@kennedystewart @CityofVancouver @SquamishNation People who are targeted and discriminated against are not afforded protection by the state. As such they are forced to take action that may break rules, laws, or expectations of the most privileged class.
