@ManagerTactical I wouldn’t go so far to say this is pro/rel. All teams still compete in the same national tournament and we don’t even know what the criteria will be for determination and redetermination of tiers. I encourage everyone to read the whole white page

The US 🇺🇸 Soccer Federation thinks pro/rel is good for college soccer but won’t recommend or enforce it for the professional leagues, like MLS.
Interesting… 🤔

Inspired by @AnalysisEvolved’s End of Season Awards podcast episode, I looked at STL City’s “Jekyll & Hyde” award — who flipped their form the most this year based on Goals Added (using June 1 as the season midpoint and >500 min in each half). ⬇️ #AllForCity #STLCity

@ChrisVannini @HenryBushnell As someone that played mid-major D1 soccer, I don’t get the hate. I think the tiering is a good merit-based idea. I’m sure the placing will cause controversy but playing in the horizon league vs. the ACC is already a stark difference. I think this is a good move

Can’t wait to see how this plays out over the next year. Earning a degree while playing at an elite level is such a unique opportunity — and building a better pro pathway without losing that balance is great for the growth of soccer in the U.S. #ussoccer #collegesoccer

Speaking of good goalkeeper performances against STL City… #AllForCITY #STLvsSJ

During Olof Mellberg’s #AllForCITY tenure, only two clubs have had a higher PSxG +/- against them, Montreal and DC (+6.8). City’s value at +6.0 indicates that goalkeepers have performed particularly well against them. New manager bounce today?!
