@bvnsae @RNoodles18 @siighren @lianmilanesa I think it gets to a point. You can obviously wish for more features to be captured, but a lot of ppl just scare artists away from drawing poc then get mad when ppl dont draw poc bc they dont make a safe environment for the artist to learn

Just pointing out how they could do better, but some people just call the artist racist and whitewasher which has very negative connotations

@RNoodles18 @siighren @lianmilanesa Not really. You can see the details on his eyes and nose. Again, a lot of his features are seen in Korra (strong jaw, eyebrows, defined cheekbones). I mean it's fine if you think he's white, but the artist clearly drew an Asian man.

when people reduce cassie’s storyline to “daddy issues turned whore” it genuinely makes my blood boil cause her storyline in season one being about the loss of her father and her youth being stolen by her early puberty and sexualization done to her by GROWN men, leading her to think her only value was her body. turning to boys for love and needing to keep that love through sex.
