@HausenKS Cinnci literally didn't dismiss him, nor did Indiana and we all know they both knew. We know for a fact cinnci knew, and I have a real hard time believing a school of Indiana s size and reputation didn't know.

@OkieFBfan John mateer 2025 - wonder if he bet or not, Oklahoma "satisfied" compliance, but how convenient that nothing came of it. Oklahoma officials did the investigation no NCAA investigation. Demarco Murray 2024 recruiting violations. Look at how quick that turned dirty for OU

I don't know that i've ever seen a more desperate fan base than Texas Tech. Aggies, Longhorns and Sooners are all on the same page and in agreeance on social media. That RARELY happens brother. Yet here we are

@BurnerJarens @Michaeljher2883 @_bigounce You're a fucking idiot, him getting kicked off isn't the same as him being banned from the sport. You moralless fuck tards really will defend anything if it involves the sec. Congrats Georgia kicked him off, the NCAA still let him play the next season

Teams won’t say “I don’t want to play Georgia” … But will boycott TTU for a ruling they didn’t decide. Hypocrisy

@be_trades @_bigounce So let's just say cinnci dismissed him and he played for another team tech and move on. Same outcome right? What's the problem, tell yourself that sorsby was dismissed by Cinnci, went to Tech to play another season and move on. That's fine right? It's what that guy did so...

@Orangebloodsatx @_bigounce Taking credit for someone still being allowed to play, the jokes write themselves with this group of idiots. Him getting kicked off isn't the issue, him still playing is. Leave it to moralless longhorns to miss the point of the guy still playing

@AKarsten24118 @_bigounce But we are morally alright with allowing a player to have cruelty to children charges and keep playing. Fk those people gambling with no influence but let's let the kid keep playing for cruelty to children. Make it make sense

@_bigounce As bad as that is it makes no sense to not play Georgia because it has nothing to do with football. Sorsby actively bet on his own team. That is as big of a no no as you can do in football

@wiseOwl1984 @_bigounce The problem isn't he was thrown off the team, it's that the NCAA didn't do anything, didn't even attempt to. They will stop a kid who's been playing for 4 years for gambling without any influence on the games but won't ban a guy that was arrested for cruelty to children.

@Khazzeron @JackTriceMafia East/West conference with the same 4 teams over and over killed football, we finally get different teams each year and the sec/b10 are freaking out over their billion dollar lead. Cry me a river, well call it the Mississippi

@JackTriceMafia SEC didn't kill any other conference. Last I checked B12 is still a power 4 conference and doing fine. B10 didn't kill the Pac 12 either. The Pac 12 killed the Pac 12 due to their own bad management and teams getting sick of it. Imagine not being able to get a TV deal.

Sorsby being eligible is dumb but SEC and Big Ten parties clutching their pearls about Texas Tech killing college football is very rich and ~totally~not a deliberate overreaction to take the spotlight away from them being the villains.

@JackTriceMafia There is nothing the SEC teams has done that is remotely bad as a player making 1,000's of bets and over 90 thousand dollars betting on his team. Not one injunction. UGA speeding tickets? Not comparable. Getting extra years? No even close.

@secnumbersguy It's amazing what happens when you have the leeches of the big12 leave. All of a sudden the "elite" programs have competition beyond the same schools all year and they're losing their minds.

It’s important to keep Texas Tech’s history in mind when looking at the Brendan Sorsby situation. The Red Raiders have NEVER won a National Championship. They have NEVER even finished a season ranked in the Top 6 of the AP Poll. They have NEVER spent a week ranked AP #1. They have ONE 12 win season all time. No Heisman winners. When you understand the context it’s easier to see why they are willing to ruin any reputation they had for a guy who placed bets on his own team.

The narrative I keep hearing that Texas Tech didn’t know Sorsby was gambling thousands of dollars is hilarious. You don’t make million dollar deals without knowing everything there is to know about the parties involved. They 100% knew.

@IRConfidencePod I choose the first 10 schools that I had thought out, Texas being 3 isn't happening , Michigan has a brand new coach they MAY make it but they have a bit of rebuilding to do. But you struggled with defending your point so good luck

If the CFP committee leave Texas Tech out of the playoffs, TTU really couldn’t sue them. 1. They are an LLC and not with the NCAA. 2. “No Property Rights” Barrier: National precedent that schools, coaches and players do not have protected property or financial interest in the playoffs. Ranking are subjective. 3. Courts will not intervene unless it’s provable they operated in bad faith or violated explicit contractual rules. Sorsby might have beat the NCAA in court but TTU isn’t beating the CFP LLC in court.

@IRConfidencePod And if tech gets in their team is a powerhouse with sorsby (in theory), Florida getting snubbed because they lost their QB is the opposite of this case of TTU getting snubbed because of having a qb

@IRConfidencePod And being they ended the season at 7, they should be ranked top 25 easily. At that point you just win your games and since you can't fall for winning games, you climb above the ones who lost, easy top 10

@IRConfidencePod If tech doesn't win the big12, their schedule is weak enough that I could see them being left out, but simply not losing any of their games and starting at 25 will guarantee them a spot in the top 12. You climb higher just from other schools losing more than your team winning
