@TVTweets2026 It generally happens that when they sign on for the first, they sign a sequel clause so it’s essentially a 2 picture deal. All the surviving cast for the original Scream did the same, except Courtney, meaning she was able to negotiate a much higher salary for Scream 2.

Melissa Barrera said she was signed to a 2 picture deal when she signed onto Scream 5, so she was contracted to do Scream 6 if the studio wanted a 6th. I’m very curious if Isabel May signed a similar 2 picture deal when she signed onto Scream 7. #Scream7 #Scream8

Requiem is a really nice trilogy bookend for the ReMake Leon character and journey (ReMake2, ReMake4 and now ReQuiem). I’d love it if they could offer Claire the same with Remake2, followed by a Remake of Code Veronica and then tie up her story with Resi10.

@lucyfpv30 What annoys me even more is that they imply Sidney doesn’t even have Dewey’s number in her phone. This is a man she trusted with her location when she went into hiding and yet, we’re supposed to be believe she wouldn’t have his number when he calls her.

@maniadreamgirl Ah my dear sis, it’s pretty solid to have only one disagreement in 26 years 😂 I’ve always felt the filter was a commentary on the horror movies of the day - the Platinum Dunes films were all guilty of that weird watered out filter that made everyone look like they were baking.

Back when I reviewed Scream 4 in 2011, it was dismissed as the franchise’s low point. Now, it’s revered as one of the strongest - proof of the irreplaceable magic and understanding Wes Craven brought that no director can match.
