Well I tend to go with what the IMF say's and not some ex footballer ..... The UK economy has shown resilience and growth compared to the Eurozone. In Q2 2025, the UK GDP grew by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter, while the Eurozone GDP grew by 0.1%. The US had a more significant rise in GDP by 0.8%. The UK's GDP was 4.5% above its pre-pandemic level of Q4 2019, while the Eurozone's GDP was 6.0% higher. The US had the highest GDP growth among G7 economies over this period at 13.0%. The OECD and IMF have slightly raised their forecasts for UK GDP growth in 2025, indicating a positive outlook for the UK economy.
