Deception Escape Rooms, Easter Egg Hunt is on now in many participating businesses in Matlock, and our Easter Event takes place on Saturday the 19th here at Matlock Town Council & Imperial Rooms from 11:00am.

A huge thankyou to everyone who came out for the somewhat hastily rescheduled light-switch-on yesterday. Everyone who helped, ran stalls, worked, performed and attended. Thanks also to Darren Barker at Dronezone-Media for these great pictures!

The Mayor will be hosting the re-scheduled light switch-on this Saturday from 2:00pm. Lights go on at 5:00pm

Matlock Town Councillors have made the difficult decision to postpone today's Christmas Parade and Light Switch-On due to the poor weather, set to worsen significantly over the afternoon. More details about rearrangement will follow on Monday. Many apologies, and thankyou.

Police and Crime Commissioner Nicolle Ndiweni has launched a consultation on the Police and Crime Plan for Derbyshire that can be accessed here : qrco.de/PoliceAndCrime… The consultation is running until the 1st September.
