He played in a pro bowl era where they listed EDGE as OLB (Lavonte played OLB until Bruce Arians arrived) and playing on a rough TB in the mid 2010s hurt his visibility. The man on stats alone is a top 10 LB in NFL history

Lavonte David only making one Pro Bowl and three All-Pros in his career is a travesty, and quite frankly I’d still put him in the Hall anyway. Kuechly, Bobby, Lavonte. That’s the holy trinity for their generation.
