Put the mixture of sugar and rice in a container. Add warm water and stir well. Sugar dissolves in water. Rice does not dissolve. Filter the mixture using a cloth or sieve. Rice stays in the filter. Sugar water passes through. Collect the rice from the filter. Evaporate the water from the sugar solution. Leave it to dry and sugar crystals will form again.
