I maintain a dividend spreadsheet that I update every year to track my income. It captures: • Company name • Dividend declared • Entry price • Total units held • Gross dividend income • 10% withholding tax • Net dividend received • Dividend yield • Bonus (if any) • Qualification & payment dates • Registrar • Remarks (whether I’ve actually been paid 😄) • Updated units after bonus This is how I stay on top of my dividend income. I started this in 2019, although it’s much more detailed now.

You can afford short term volatility because you are playing a long game. If you are above 50, flip that ratio. Capital preservation matters more when your timeline is shorter.

RT Briscoe is cheap but red flags : Negative equity (-₦5.5B), high debt (₦18.9B) and negative free cash flow.
