Dr. Webb also recently published sciencedirect.com/science/articl… They treat tumor models with a virus (VSV-IFNβ), causing the tumor to develop a predictable escape mutation (CSDE1 C->T). They created a new, modified virus, VSV-IFNβ-P/M, that targets these escaped CSDE1 C->T tumor cells.
