If Cora had a GG 2B he'd play him but he doesn't. He has Hamilton who is good defensively but made 2 errors. He has Nate Eaton to play 3B and Romy playing 2B who has worked at 1B all yr especially when Casas went down. Manager is trying to field a team!!

And even with the offensive struggles, I think the biggest reason he’s going down is defense. -9 OAA. That’s 1st percentile. David Hamilton entering games late as a defensive replacement has been telling. Wouldn’t hesitate to start the 1B experiment with him again.
