Happy Australia Day! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 No matter how hard some try to destroy us from within or attack us from the outside, Australia remains the greatest country on earth. I’m proud. I’m grateful. I’m Australian. And this country is worth fighting for.

A year ago I wrote about the vibe shift on Australia Day. Australia Day 2024 I was on Bondi Beach and there was literally not a single Australian flag to be seen on the beach. Last year was better. This year is even better. I’ve never seen so many Australian flags out and about. I think many of us have come to learn that there are some nefarious characters who would really like to destroy our nation and make us feel bad about who we are. There are people who want death and destruction, while we want to live a good life. Good will prevail but we have to have the confidence to talk about it and stand up for our values without being bullied into submission.

In our region, the rule-of-thumb for when to plant grain crops is "after ANZAC Day". The operation of planting completely erases anything in the paddock. So I figured, if it will be visible until at least ANZAC Day, let's combine the two? To the greatest place. Happy Australia Day. 🇦🇺

Prime Minister Albanese refused to say three words while calling his Royal Commission: Radical. Islamic. Terrorism. A Royal Commission about what happened in Bondi will be a waste unless the real problem is addressed. The Prime Minister won’t even say the problem out loud. Let’s be clear, on December 14 two radical Islamic terrorists murdered 15 innocent Jewish Australians in an ISIS inspired hate filled attack. A proper Royal Commission should be investigating how radical Islam has been allowed to flourish in Australia. We have to look at who we have been bringing into this country for the past 30 years. Are the people we are bringing into the country today going to assimilate with western culture or seek to tear our country apart? The Burqa, a tool of islamic extremist oppression, should be banned in Australia. Instead, the government lets hate preachers in mosques go unpunished and allows radical Islam to grow in Australia. The Royal Commission should be looking at the governments policy on immigration, citizenship and stamping out radical islamic extremists. The terms of reference released for the Bondi Royal Commission fail to do any of this. The Prime Minister should be condemned for his failures that will put more Australians in danger in the future.

Hamilton Island, QLD has reportedly been sold to foreign private equity firm Blackstone for $1.2 billion. The tropical north Queensland island near the fringe of the Great Barrier Reef spans 1,133 hectares and is home to luxury hotels, 20 restaurants, a commercial airport and supports an 18-hole golf course on neighbouring Dent Island.  Why do Governments continue to let foreign interests buy up Australian land? Enough is enough!
