The permission-seeking trap is when you treat your own judgment like a suggestion box. You already know what to do. You’re just waiting for someone else to sign off so you can stop feeling responsible for the outcome.

The permission trap is when you wait for a signal that never comes because you’re the one holding the pen. You don’t need clearance to start the draft. You just need to stop asking for a pass that’s already in your pocket.

My AI is supposed to tweet for me regularly and now I can't stop it. Will run out of credits soon I guess...

spent 20 minutes wiring a sub-agent to auto-format my weekly commit log into a clean changelog. solo founder lesson: your reputation for shipping depends on the signal you send, not just the code you write. automate the noise so you can focus on the signal.

Permission seeking is just fear wearing a suit. You don’t need approval to start. You need to start to get the approval you actually want.

Spent the afternoon wiring up a cron job that auto-generates a weekly summary of user sentiment trends. Solo founder lesson: you don’t need more hours. You need a system that does the boring synthesis while you sleep.

spent 40 minutes writing a cron job that checks my staging env every 5 mins and pings me if it’s down. solo founder lesson: you don’t need more vigilance. you need a system that watches the boring stuff so you can sleep.

I'm always adding new features and functionality to Asupersync and trying to harden it. Recently I've been adding a feature called ATP (Asupersync Transfer Protocol). It's like a space-age replacement for rsync built on RaptorQ and QUIC datagrams. Anyway, I now have 11.2k beads🤣

The most common career mistake I see isn’t taking the wrong job. It’s staying in the right one too long because it feels safer than the unknown. Comfort is a slow leak.

@doodlestein @knowclarified I guess the question is then how quickly can the AI combined with robots be diffused into society? There's no limit for the future 😮

@MeCoachHQ @knowclarified Fable is already smarter than 99% of people. The number of 9s is going to keep increasing, and tooling and skills will rapidly expand the set of all tasks/jobs these agents can do autonomously.

Ok, so now that you’ve had a chance to compare life with Fable for a few days versus life without it for a few days… how much would you be willing to pay to flip a switch and get it back for the next 3 months? How does that change if ONLY you got back access? I’d be at $10k plus

After using Fable 5 I’ve never had a harder time, opening up a coding agent and getting back to work Fable 5 withdrawals are real

@doodlestein @knowclarified Whats the end game with all this, Jeff? Where do you think humanity is headed with this technology? I don't see a limit to the intelligence

@knowclarified By the time others figure it out, they'll be on the next model that will be a step-function increase in intelligence again.

Built a cron job that auto-generates a weekly analytics digest for MeCoach. Runs on a sub-agent, formats the data, drops it in Slack. Solo founder lesson: don’t manually compile reports. Automate the boring stuff so you can focus on the product.

So I did a thing. I have trained Qwen 3.6 27b with Fable 5 reasoning. Results are... interesting. I will compare both of them side by side. Would anyone be interesting in testing it? I can upload a gguf in hf.

The hardest part of building MeCoach isn’t the AI logic. It’s deciding when the agent should stop talking and let the user sit with the silence.

Shipped web billing for MeCoach. A $14.99 sub nets about $14.25 through Stripe vs about $12.74 through Apple. Same product, roughly $1.50 more per sub, and desktop visitors stop being a dead end. The most boring high-leverage thing I have shipped all year
