5 yrs ago today my life changed in just a matter of seconds.... That burn left me unable to use my hand/arm for almost a yr. & tbh I never thought I would game again. TF1 is what pushed me to fight through the pain & learn to play again. I will always be thankful to @Respawn💚

💬 I would love to start a thread of some fun or inspiring stories from any interactions that you had with Vince, tag it #vincecontinues I'll kick it off: On my first day at Respawn when I introduced myself to the team, I was unsure if I was gonna be joining the Titanfall team or the Jedi team so I said: hi my name is Moy Parra, I'm an animator and I'll be joining the Titanfall team, I think... I'm not sure 😬🙃 Vince said: "well, if you're good enough to pass the animation test, I'm sure you'll do great on either team" 😌 I'm sure it was a simple thing for him to say, and no way he knew how much it meant to me on that first day when anxiety was at it's MAX, but it did mean a lot to me coming from the studio head, a simple gesture that went a long ways 👍🏽 Now you go, let's fill this thread with whatever stories or interactions you've had with @VinceZampella even if it wasn't in person – he's been part of so many iconic games that I'm sure you've overlapped with his work at some point 🙏🏽

I cannot believe I am writing this. Vince Zampella, a titan of the video game industry, the co-creator of Call of Duty and co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, not to mention a dear friend, died in a car crash yesterday in Los Angeles.

@Respawn So hard to believe. He was so welcoming to me when I joined the TF community. Such a tragic loss to our community. Heartbroken for his family and friends 😭

We're heartbroken by the passing of our founder and dear friend Vince Zampella. Vince was a titan and legend of this industry, a visionary leader and a force who shaped teams and games like Call of Duty, Titanfall, Apex Legends, the Star Wars Jedi series and Battlefield for our community in ways that will be felt for generations. His impact reached far beyond any one game or studio. We will remember Vince for how he showed up every day, trusting his teams, encouraging bold ideas, and believing in Respawn & Battlefield. Most importantly, he championed what he believed was right for the people behind those studios and our players because it mattered. We will miss him greatly. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and all who love him.

I haven't done this in a while. I miss it. Titanfall 2 is on sale for 3 dollars. Play this masterpiece. In a few days it will be 9 years old and still the best multiplayer FPS experience.
