Just imagine the robust mobile software economy that would exist today if Apple hadn't squashed competing stores like Cydia's - which existed before Apple's App Store. We could've had Steam for iOS, Humble Bundle for iOS, Adobe Creative Cloud for iOS.

I would reduce the cost of the game accordingly. Please, if you want to hate on Tim or Epic for the legal battles, because you can't play fortnite, just sit tight, it will be over soon. They are out there fighting for what's right! Just have faith.

Speaking first hand, game developers aren't - for the most part - greedy people. We want the world to see our creations and enjoy what we have made; if we can pay our bills along the way, awesome! If I only paid 12% to a platform, I wouldn't take the other 18% in profit.

I have seen a LOT of comments from Fortnite players complaining about @TimSweeneyEpic for not reverting the update. Frankly, those people don't understand the bigger issue here. It's NOT about Tim wanting more money, it's about setting a precedent and stopping the 30% charge!
