Um 1900 hatte Deutschland ebenfalls nur 57 Millionen Einwohner und das Staatsgebiet war sogar rund 50 Prozent größer als heute. Deutschland war führender Wissenschaftsstandort und die Aufbruchsstimmung der Gründerzeit machte Deutschland zu einer der dynamischsten Industriemächte der Welt. Selbst wenn man, wie die heutige „Managerkaste“, Deutschland nur als Wirtschaftsstandort begreift, sollte langsam durchgesickert sein, dass sinnlos in die Sozialsysteme importierte Menschenmassen noch lange keinen wirtschaftlichen Erfolg machen. Ganz im Gegenteil.
