#MotW @Mercy_College conducted a Disaster Day simulation, an interprofessional exercise that emphasizes roles/responsibilities, effective communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and teamwork in a disaster situation. Students from multiple programs used critical thinking, prioritization, and delegation skills to balance the flux of incoming patients during a code yellow. #HigherEd #OhioHigherEd

The renovation of part of the fifth floor of the @Mercy_College building into the @TPSProud Pre-Medical and Health Science Academy is quickly moving toward completion. Rudolph Libbe is performing the 20,000-square-foot renovation, which will include nine classrooms, two science labs, plus study and office space. Workers were seen installing glass, teledata systems, plumbing fixtures and performing other work. When complete, the Pre-Medical and Health Science Academy will educate students interested in medical and clinical careers through a state-of-the-art learning experience starting in Fall of 2025. The academy will also serve as a pipeline for much-needed healthcare workers in the Toledo area. #RLGBuilds #HealthcareEducation #TPSProud #OhioContractor #CommercialContractor
