I love Rand. He was my favorite politician pre-2016 as I was starting to focus on politics. But he has to stop running against populism if he wants to run. Populism in itself is not the enemy. We need a radical libertarian populism, guided by principle and American tradition. We need the energy Rand had with Fauci directed against the Iran war, the Epstein clients, the surveillance state, the Fed, etc. That *is* populist.

Muh inequality Muh corporate greed Muh monopolies All stuff that isn’t actually an issue in true laissez-faire. The ONLY legitimate critique of capitalism is the fact that it commercializes tradition and social values/incentivizes self serving degenerate behavior, which is more of a critique of the culture surrounding it rather than capitalism itself.

I hate critique's of 'capitalism' in modern pop culture so much. Not because I'm a capitalist but because they are so brain dead and have 0 thought put into them. Both the critique itself and the execution in music, literature etc.
