I will go to bat for both the It movies. Beyond the perfect casting of the kids, their adult counterparts, and Pennywise, there's a non-ironic warmth to the whole enterprise that's increasingly rare.

They're large and open back, so they're best for indoor use. But they respond well to EQ, don't crush your jaw, and have the biggest soundstage of any headphone I've owned. In terms of drivability, staging, and value the Fidelios cannot be beat.

Not to point people towards The Bad Shop, but the Fidelio X2HRs are the best all-round entry-level audiophile headphones on the market and they're £68 during holiday sales. Launch price was £300.

Incidentally, this gym pic stuff is 30% monitoring my progress and 70% playing with lighting, grading, and emulation with a controllable (and available!) human subject. I'd very much like to work with some actual models / people who might want cool portraits down the line.
