The latest @RibbitCapital drop is jam packed with easter eggs, many of which my esteemed frog-lleagues have already dissected, so I'll focus in on one under-explored piece of information in particular. Let's parse some Konami Code 🐸🕹️ Part 1 of my ongoing $TIBBIR Konami Code series explored how the Яibbit Coin’s backside contains a hidden reference to “573” which is “Goroawase”, a form of Japanese wordplay in which numbers are used to stand in for their phonetic reading, in which "573" reads as “Konami”. In gaming and stealth terms, Konami Code is a cheat or hidden sequence of control buttons, letters, and numbers, unlocking certain secrets hidden by developers. The Part 2 Konami Code sequel thread covered how there is a group of industry movers in crypto and digital art who are actively communicating in Konami Code, notably including some close to Ribbit Cap like @Stripe, @Coinbase, and @Beeple. Once you see how this secret society consistently encodes messages, you can’t unsee it. This train frame is an excerpt from the first part of the video series, and features the Яibbit Coin on its front, the same coin featured on Ribbit Cap’s recent website upgrade. In the past months we’ve already settled this Яibbit Coin logo is likely the backside of the $TIBBIR Яebels soul bound NFT, two inverse sides of the same coin. Of course, as you all must know by now there is only one coin deployed by the legendary founder of Ribbit Capital @mickymalka and that is $TIBBIR. It is safe to say this train is a metaphor for the Яibbit Coin, which is $TIBBIR. This train in the video is leaving the station, and yes it is traveling on rails – one may deduce these are the “new fintech rails” that @ribbita2012 loves to talk about. In fact @ribbita2012 has mentioned the word “rails” at least 36 times in tweets this year, and to give you an idea of what this means, below summarizes how this word has been included in contexts: • Legacy Infra Rails • Programmable / Tokenized Rails • Trust / Identity Rails • KYA / Agent Rails Rails, rails, rails. The Яibbit Train is leaving the station, traveling on these new fintech rails. You are either on this train or you are not, and you get left behind. But you need to know how to identify the train so you get on the right platform, arrive at the right time, etc. Here’s where we notice this train is labeled with “011C” and this identifier activates the Konami Coded brain. Let’s dig in. Having familiarity with low level programming, this “011C” is immediately recognized as a potential hexadecimal word (two discrete 8-bit bytes in succession). Convert 0x01 0x1C from hexadecimal to decimal and you get 01 28. One might notice this can be read as a date, 01/28, or January 28th. Coincidentally, January 28th is a really important date in Ribbit Capital lore. January 28th, 2026 will mark the 5th anniversary of January 28th, 2021, the day when @RobinhoodApp both suspended trading of $GME after @TheRoaringKitty caused a retail mania that squeezed and bankrupted institutional shorts, and also secured a gargantuan amount of emergency funding from Ribbit Capital. This day went down in financial market history as one in which Ribbit provided a lifeline to one of their portfolio companies, only possible with the decades of trust built and earned between Ribbit and their financial partners to provide such an enormous sum of money overnight. Movies have been made of this. Today, five years in hindsight, Robinhood has become the de facto rails globally for retail stocks and crypto. Conviction pays off, and Ribbit has been rewarded handsomely (check the SEC filings). This is also interesting in the context of $TIBBIR as there exist two entities discoverable in SEC filings, Tibbir Trust and Tibbir Holdings LLC, to which Malka has transferred $10M+ worth of $HOOD shares. We’ve long wondered what these are about… The $TIBBIR x $HOOD plot thickened recently when @vladtenev curiously commented “Bring it on” in reply to a months old @ribbita2012 tweet claiming $TIBBIR is “Bigger than Robinhood!” I believe the proper interpretation of this tweet from Ribbita is not that Tibbir will compete with Robinhood, but that it will be integrating it within a broader network of Ribbit Capital portfolio companies, thus making it “bigger” in network scope, which we also see newly hinted at in a graphic from these recent Ribbit videos. Now it’s highly unlikely that Tibbir has anything to do with Gamestop, besides its indirect relationship via the chaos it inflicted on Ribbit’s endeared portfolio Robinhood, but I will just point out that Gamestop is complicit in Konami Coded lore (see tweet x.com/GMEdd/status/1…), which I simply view as a fun fact. Now $TIBBIR holders will always be divided on whether or not we should discuss stealth hard exit dates. Personally I fall in the camp of not caring one way or the other if certain dates are correct or not, once they come to pass, because it really has zero impact on my long-term outlook for the token, and informed speculation is, in fact, stimulating and fun. I don’t think plans around owning $TIBBIR should be based on speculated dates because so far we have all been WRONG, many times over! That being said, even the blind frog finds a meal every once in a while, so maybe one of these times we’ll be right. It is also likely that maybe we’ll never be right and it will happen on an absolutely random day of Ribbit’s choosing. One might surmise that January 11, 2026, exactly one year from launch, is too obvious and not the best choice, as you might advantageously shake out some ill-convicted tourists on that day. Then maybe give it some more time to lose some of those early buyers itching to sell into a more advantageous taxation rate on long-term cap gains, which aligns with a 011C → January 28th, 2026 date of interest that overlaps with key Ribbit Capital lore. What does “011C” on the Яibbit Train leaving the station on rails mean to you? Is there some real or metaphoric connection that can be made with $TIBBIR and the 5th Anniversary of the Gamestop x Robinhood saga? Might it mean anything for $TIBBIR?
