Shrimp Patties -Tortitas de Camaron with Doña María Mole mexgrocer.com/tortitasdecama… A comforting, traditional dish full of bold Mexican flavor. Crispy shrimp patties bathed in rich mole sauce make the perfect seasonal favorite for family meals or Cuaresma gatherings. Ingredients: 1 jar Doña María® Mole Sauce (8.25 oz) 3 ½ cups chicken broth 300 g dried or shredded shrimp (camarón molido) 4 eggs ¼ cup flour ¼ cup breadcrumbs 2 eggs, beaten Vegetable oil (for frying) Instructions Heat chicken broth in a pot and stir in Doña María® Mole Sauce until smooth and fully dissolved. Hydrate shrimp in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain well and finely chop if needed. Mix shrimp, breadcrumbs, and eggs until combined. Form patties. Coat lightly in flour, dip in beaten egg, and fry until golden. Serve warm and generously spoon mole sauce over the patties. Pair with rice and warm tortillas. The Rosca de Reyes is a ring-shaped sweet bread with a small baby doll baked inside, symbolizing the hiding of the infant Jesus from King Herod. Tradition says that whoever finds the doll must host a Candlemas celebration on February 2nd, offering tamales, hot chocolate, and atole to their guests. This time-honored custom continues to bring families together year after year, blending faith, culture, and the joy of sharing
