BREAKING: The U.S. Supreme Court has denied Miami community groups' appeal in the city's redistricting case. The decisions allows the city of Miami to use the map approved by commissioners in June for this year's municipal elections in districts 1, 2 and 4. Story coming.

Great news at last! Today, August 7, the City of Miami plans to open the parts of NE and SE 2nd Avenue that were blocked by the Flagler construction. Downtowners will no longer have to loop around to go to Brickell or the I-95 ramps
