Miami Township, Clermont County is now under a Snow Emergency. To assist with snow removal efforts, no vehicles shall be parked on any snow emergency route nor on any township street. The Snow Emergency shall remain in place until the Township declares otherwise.

Miami Township has lifted the local snow emergency restrictions. Drive safely, and stay warm Miami Township!

Effective at 530pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Miami Township, Clermont County will be under a Snow Emergency. No vehicles shall be parked on a snow emergency route nor on any township street. Drivers are discouraged from being on the road unless they have emergency reasons.

US 50 near Eastman Drive is currently closed due to a severe traffic crash. Please use an alternative route.

Two separate water paddle sport-related emergencies have occurred in Miami Township this week prompting responses from both @MiamiTwpPD and @MiamiTwpFD. We encourage everyone on the water to wear a personal floatation device. It can make the difference between life and death.

MTPD has responded to Meadowview Elementary for a disorder involving a non-student. That subject is in our custody. No threat to the school. Additional information will be provided to the parents from Milford Schools. Again, no threat to the school and all students are safe!

Cook Road is shut down in the area of 5960 Cook Road for trees/wires down. Duke Energy has been notified and is on scene. We will update when Duke clears and Cook Road is back open.

Heads up on your Wednesday morning commute… A vehicle fire involving a semi-truck is creating a slow/stopped traffic on northbound I-275 near State Route 28.

Does anyone recognize him? No collar and not microchipped. In all seriousness, Miami Township remains under a snow emergency. Don’t park vehicles on the street. Driving is discouraged absent an emergency. Hats off to the road crews working to clear the roads! 👏 👏 👏
