@MichHSLaxFan FHN v BC caught my attention first and it lived up to my expectation. Huskies are so good at closing out close games.

FHC vs. Mattawan Two hungry programs and top teams over the past 5 years both looking to make a statement tonight. FHC wants to prove that last year was a fluke and Mattawan is looking to prove that it was not! This game should be a battle!

Other teams I am keeping my eye on: Kenowa Hills - This is a very talented squad this season. I want to see how they handle WO. GRCC vs. Mona Shores - This score should give us a better idea of what to expect out of these programs.

Let's break down some West Side games! FHN vs. BC This matchup features two of the top FOGOs in the state! This is a game that never ceases to bring excitement! For as long I can remember these two programs have provided close games. This one will be awesome.

Oxford vs. Romeo Two great coaches working to put together successful seasons. I can't help to root for both these teams, so I will root for neither and just sit back and watch. Good luck to both teams!

@Peeeeejj I heard the same thing! Should be a battle tonight! Additionally, I am thinking were going to see some new schools competing for regions this year. Lacrosse is starting to see the parity more and more. This year is going to be fun!

@MichHSLaxFan Heard DCD beat rice in scrimmage yesterday 11-6. (Could be incorrect). But I think parity at the top this year will be fun to see! DCD vs CC today! Great early games this year.

DCD vs DCC Two of the top teams in the state historically. You cannot ask for a better matchup than this. Last years state runners up both looking to win the last game of the season this year. This is a MUST watch for all HS lacrosse fans in Michigan!

Caledonia vs. FHE I previewed this game yesterday, but both teams have State Championship aspirations this year. Cannot wait to see there programs in action this year! This game is a toss up. Just grab you popcorn and watch 2 top teams in D2 battle!

Opening Day provided a couple awesome upsets! Coopersville takes down GRCC and Romeo Topples Hartland! The 3/19 Slate may prove to be even more exciting! Here are the games that I am excited about this evening!

Night 1 , Upset 1 Romeo has been building & it showed tonight. Down 6-4 with 8 left in the 3rd. They score 4 and hold the Eagles scoreless. Hartland will re-group but a signature win for HC Jack Smith, his staff & players. Congrats.
