Markers of Thyroid function Most important: Body temp immediately after waking(98 degrees) and 30 mins after first meal. (98.2 or above) Morning temp can be influenced by stress hormones so we take both here. If you wake up at 98 degrees or higher then drop below after eating we have a problem. Morning Pulse high can confirm this as well along side temp Recommend taking orally as it helps with longer term compliance and Broda Barnes suggestion was a mercury thermometer under the armpit which takes about 10 minutes each time. Consistency and uniformity mater most. Pulse: 70-85 bpm This is highly variable from person to person and depends on aerobic fitness. High school athlete? Ect. Once again consistency and uniformity of measurement matters most. Markers that help you regain autonomy for your health and give you a much better overall picture outside a single snapshot in time(bloodwork) -cold hands cold feet (no this isn’t normal if you’re a girl either) -energy -mood -mental function -libido -bp -weight gain -digestion -hair/skin/nails Bloodwork -TSH -Free T3 T4 -reverse T3 -cholesterol This is a crapshoot to read sometimes and don’t feel bad because Doctors get it wrong all the time. TSH only really relevant if elevated (above 1.4 maybe even lower - hypothyroid). When suppressed then we can look to see t3 & t4. Upper reference range? Great although not the full picture. T3 can be elevated in serum yet depleted in tissue. TSH high T4 high yet t3 lower end? We will likely see rT3 elevated indication hypothyroid. TSH low t3 &t4 low rT3 is most likely elevated. High Cholesterol isn’t always directly linked to hypothyroidism but it’s a good confirmation. Cholesterol gets backed up because we need t3 to convert it into downstream hormones. 9 out of 10 times I see a high cholesterol on bloods we can bet TSH is above 1.4 and body temp is not ideal.

I had Lyme disease twice growing up The first time, I was just a kid. Found a tick on the side of my chest and got the classic bullseye rash Tried to go play outside and couldn't run 10 yards without being completely winded. Took me awhile to recover both times I got it Lyme is no joke - some people become permanently disabled by it. It's extremely complex, absolutely wrecks your immune system, and there's not a clear treatment protocol The testing is also unreliable, and not everyone has the same symptoms (or even the rash), so diagnostics are very hard Don't take chances with it
Merlin Capital 🧙‍♂️@merlinscapital

Just remember, they intentionally released bio-engineered tics in lyme so that you could never enjoy the outside or hunt deer meat. the us govt intentionally released this on americans to make you more compliant

@MichaelLexner @PGC1a_RB My TSH has always been over 3. I started T3 a few months ago and am taking 10mcg AM and 10mcg afternoon. Will be interested to see what changed. I dont feel different and I suspect my metabolism is also similar.

Hmm with the IBS - pushing any pathway without the requisite increase in calories to fuel that push can create a lot of other issues that are seemingly unrelated. Without the other zinc deficiency sides(especially the nails. Ghk-cu will increase the growth so most likely see the acute zinc deficiency here.) I’d lean more towards gut causing the skin issue via down regulation to fuel the pathways being pushed Just a thought from an outside perspective who doesn’t know the full story. And I understand the later zinc sufficiency correlated with the skin improvement, but also may have been a coincidence with time off increases calorie need.

@MichaelLexner Yeah zinc levels pre usage were in the low-normal range and dropped down to deficient levels once the side effects popped up. Never had any issues with hair or nails, have had lifelong ibs-d though. Copper / cerruloplasmin have always been normal when tested alongside zinc.

I’m jealous of people who use ghk-cu and get nice skin because when I used it I got the worst acne I’ve had in my life

@cynomel Any other zinc deficiency sides? Hair, nails, lose stools perhaps? Know you had a zinc lab run so not pushing back just curious. Any zinc lab pre usage? You get a cooper/ceruloplasmin along side?

@izem000 @PGC1a_RB @drmarlonperalta lol yea 1mg is better than 100mg but 0mg is better than 1mg The less you light your money on fire for a placebo the better. Will make you warmer than the 332 though so maybe that’s the effect people are reporting

If you’re megadosing SLU-PP-332, I’m curious on your thoughts. (I’ve seen up to 100-400 mg daily) I went up to 20 mg/day of SLU-PP-332. After working with a few clients on this, here are my thoughts on why I think 1 mg is better than 100 mg: open.substack.com/pub/marlonjper…
