Fundacion Progressio reviewed #Magnolia propagation and conservation as part of our @kewscience course today. We all took the opportunity to plant #Magnolia seedlings in Ebano Verde reserve. Thanks to @bgci and Fondation Franklinia for supporting these propagation projects.

@RJABuggs Richard I think the trial plantings are from that era. e.g...'trees were grown in the pinetum to assess their potential, often followed by large-scale plantings for in-depth study. This work continues today and there are still research plantings in the old Forest Plots'
