Does anyone else think #FFC appointing Alvaro Arbeloa as manager smacks of all their other choices (McKenna, Ferreira , Amorim etc) rejecting them? Arbeloa has only managed adults for 1.5 years, prior to that he was Real Madrid's YT coach. Could work but seems a huge reach.

The greatest referee of all time. He reffed the Euro game v Hertha Berlin (at Loftis Road) during our Euro run. If you’d been going to see us play in the darkest days, it was a real statement of how far we’d come in terms of recovery and progress.

O acordo do Benfica com o Shakhtar foi desenhado com a ideia que o ucraniano seria vendido por mais de 60 milhões num espaço de um-três anos — o Benfica incluiu a opção de comprar 10% do passe do Sudakov por seis milhões. O acordo praticamente tranca o Sudakov no Benfica caso ele não valorize, dado que o Shakhtar manteve 25% do passe. O Marco Silva tem vários casos sucesso na sua carreira onde deu uma segunda vida aos jogadores. E o Sudakov encaixa-se mais no perfil do 10 que utiliza nos seus 4-2-3-1 do que o Rafa. Acho que o travão do Sudakov não falta de qualidade mas sim a circunstância da sua vida e do seu país.
