There's a lot I think we in pub health can agree on re: COVID response now. To start: get the variant booster; improve indoor air quality; make sure those at high risk get all available tools to protect themselves; all in society need access to Vx, Rx, Dx cnn.com/2022/09/06/hea…

@bykriscampbell From my chair: Setting and managing #standards is complex. To provide context, its the same for every industry segment that I am aware of. From #Medicine, to high #technology, it's pretty the same. In fact, most often its not uncommon to have competing organizations. Fun!

Yes, @amandalhu! 👇 The educational part of the #CorsiRosenthalBox, seeing kids get excited about creating something that works & helps others, energizes me. Will build & test CR Boxes in my 1st-year seminar course @ucdavis & help 500 local girl scouts do the same. Just do it!
Amanda Hu@amandalhu

Every kid I’ve ever seen encounter a #corsirosenthalbox box I’ve made totally loves it and wants to know what it does and how it works and that’s why it is extra super frustrating that building one is not being included in school science classes.

@Doerl_J By chance can you see anything that might implicate hyperosmia? It's been my mission life to discover this and damp it down.

@bykriscampbell Sounds reasonable, particularly if the funding for these studies will utilizes taxpayer funds. I wonder how it might impact patents? If memory serves some federal agencies also retain ownership of the formula process as well?

I'm confused and I'm hoping that someone in the #microbiome community can answer the question that nags me the most. Re the #ProPad study, was the #probiotic #Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) in children with AD. an 'off the shelf' product, a proprietary blend?
