Usually when a defendant lies on the stand, the prosecutor like…cross examines them about the lies.

Here are a few reasons why many people don’t find the witnesses in the Kelsey Fitzsimmons case credible. This is why documentation is important! She lunged from behind the door. She grabbed a gun behind the door frame. We rolled her over and found the gun under her leg. The gun was on the side of her leg. The police officer escorted us inside the home. There must have been a police officer on the other side of the door but I can’t remember which one. Her car was tucked away 50-100 yards away. Her car was tucked away at least 150 yards away. I fired two shots in rapid succession. I fired a shot, yelled some commands, and fired another shot. I fired two shots in rapid succession while yelling commands. She was three feet away. She was 15 feet away in a 12’ room. We move on and go back to work. I’m on critical incident leave. Kelsey wanted to kill Justin. I didn’t know Justin was there I never went into the bedroom. The spent casings were both found in her bedroom. Never drug tested. Given a new firearm immediately after the incident without a debrief. Not interviewed until three days later. Allowed to work details while out on leave.

So. Big question. Justin 4 yrs older than Kelsey. His younger sister Courtney follows him like a puppy. Were all of Justin s other ex s younger than him? Perhaps so he could feel superior and in control of them? Perhaps Kelsey s PPD treatment made her more confident. Scaring him.

Justin Aylaian didn’t have gas money to pick up his own kid, but somehow he had the system on speed dial to get an immediate restraining order, send Keystone Cops into her home, get her shot in the chest, arrested, and detained while he stole her belongings and fought for custody. All while she was battling postpartum depression. She took the stand and said exactly what makes sense: she pointed the gun at herself, not the officers. She wanted to end her pain, not hurt anyone else. The prosecution’s entire case rests on one cop’s word in a bedroom with no body cam, no second witness, and testimony that’s already cracking under cross. This isn’t justice. This is the system failing a mother, a police officer, and a citizen who needed help—not handcuffs and a felony charge. Kelsey deserves an acquittal and her life back. The real accountability needs to start with the people who turned a mental health crisis into a criminal circus. Fix the MA courts. Stop the abuse of process. #JusticeForKelsey

@queen__valerie_ @DoctorTurtleboy In MA, the temporary 1 party order is essentially write an essay as to why you feel afraid for yourself, your children and apparently not your dog. Then how these fears can only be dealt with based on the order being granted. Get real facts at a later date.

@queen__valerie_ In MA more than 95% of 209a single party hearings are granted. Its similar to grand juries "indicting a ham sandwich". 2 party hearings a lawyer can cross examine Justin.
