MineZ2 Rebuild

I blame Vintage Story for taking up most of my free time lmao

Apparently today marks 2 years of this account, I haven't made any progress in a long while, been busy with life and haven't had much desire to build, if I have some spare time I don't know what to do with I'll try to add something

Oh damn its been a year since ive started working on this, surely i will make more progress this year.. (clueless)

Some of the progress I made that I meant to post sooner, this is of Kuwana. Its one of the farthest northwest towns and was one of three towns that could spawn invasions. Imo it was the best since you could just close the gate and defend the town pretty safely

Havent worked on anything in a few weeks, been busy with school then spring break with family. Will return to do more when school is less busy and I'm ready to suffer again rebuilding things

more big progress around the boarder of the city, found a great high quality video i missed before that went along most of it and it helped so much, genuinely thought there was no footage of around the side of the town still around.

Worked on lots of small bits. All of Asindia's church's interior (minus all the ceiling), the part leading from the front entrance to a part of town not many went to, and last week the town wall large tower and small lighting tower. Large isnt finished, missing roof.

Stopped working on it for a few weeks but heres what i have of Asindia so far. doesnt look like much but its a lot. the roofs are pretty tricky and still looking for videos of the insides of a lot of buildings

Will post pictures of Asindia soon, starting to get to the point where it's presentable

Basically done with everything within the walls of Balsor Castle. Starting work on Asindia, the most iconic town of MineZ2 due to being in the center of the south and being generally the best place to start and trade. It's huge so it'll be a lot but I imagine Kholheim is worse

Huge progress at Balsor's today, most interior is done, just have a few rooms to find footage of and get the angles of others. Also most of the outside wall though it shouldnt be too bad, all this today took about 6 hours alone.. so damn time consuming

So far what I have done on Balsor Castle, I thought it would be an easier one and so far it has sorta been due to being much smaller than the other locations, shouldnt be too bad, just worry about inside locations not having as much images/videos surviving the years...

Also ignore the command blocks and beds in the image, Im building in 1.8.9 for authenticity and command blocks are needed to do certain things like spawn playerheads with proper NBT data in that version. Also much easier teleporting between build sites

There still is a lot of different tree types here though, still going to be hard

Kholheim is almost entirely finished, just need to do the inside the mines area, surrounding mountains, and all the trees. interesting thing about the trees is a lot of them are the same so I will just need to make a few to be copy and pasted to the others

Ive also pretty much completed Logging Camp, the mountain parts arent done but the town itself is 95% complete, similar to Kholheim, I need to complete the cave. Only problem with that is that I havent found any good footage of it yet. Will have to keep searching!

Finally, if anyone has any old world downloads themselves, it would mean more than words could ever describe if you could send it to me, even if its just part of it, it would help out so so much in the effort. Thanks for reading all this -MBoy2000

In addition, I'm not affiliated with Shotbow, I feel like they've forgotten the game at this point with no hope of it ever being revived, though I guess its probably been that way since it shutdown. Anyways, I'm just someone who loved the game and wishes to see the world again
