Brilliant work today from Higher pupils who created different soil profiles…using food! Pupils used their knowledge to decide which ingredients would accurately represent each soil horizon. Then the enjoyed eating them after! Great work!🌱🍫

Travel & Tourism pupils have been working on their digital literacy, communication, interpersonal and self-management skills, by planning a holiday which meets the needs of staff members! Great work T&T, some lucky teachers with brilliant holiday plans now🤩✈️🌍🎉

What a beautiful day it was yesterday. N5 pupils took full advantage and completed some weather work in the lovely sunshine. Pupils drew weather station circles, described the air pressure system we were experiencing as well as writing a short forecast. Well done N5’s 👏🏼☀️🌥️

Highers put their lithosphere knowledge to use with Mars Bar Glaciers🍫❄️Pupils showed how the glacier (choc bar) moves downhill under force of gravity & demonstrated the erosion processes (scree was choc shavings) that shape the landscape 🏔️

National 5 pupils aced their timed treasure hunt this morning, searching around the room and using their prior knowledge as well as their problem-solving skills to match each statement to the correct air mass👏🏼

A life goal achieved during these summer holidays… I have now been to all 7 continents of the world🌍 I will never tire of exploring our amazing planet😍
