Malaysia doesn’t have a revenue problem.
It has a discipline problem.
Billions are collected. Billions are announced.
But leakages, mismanagement, & "off-budget" tricks keep growing.
When small Rakyat (the people) miss payments, action is immediate.
When large public funds go missing, we get statements.
This is no longer inefficiency.
It’s a system that protects failure - & passes the cost to the Rakyat.

RM230 Million NGO Case - The Right Questions Must Be Asked!
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has clarified that the RM230 million under investigation is not zakat. It involves public donations.
That distinction matters.
If Zakat in Malaysia is tightly regulated under state Islamic councils, with proper audit & distribution frameworks. This case points elsewhere - at how large-scale public donations are being handled outside that system.
Here’s what stands out.
RM230 million is a very large sum.
Naturally, people will ask-
Can an NGO genuinely raise this level of public donations?
Is there a deeper issue in how such entities are being used & structured?
This is where transparency becomes critical.
How was the money raised?
Who were the donors?
Where was it kept?
Was there proper independent audit?
We regulate banks. We regulate zakat.
When it comes to public donations, oversight is still too loose.
This is not about religion.
This is about governance, accountability, & protecting public trust.
If everything is in order, disclose & reassure.
If not, act decisively.
Rakyat deserves clarity.

Dato Zaid is right on one thing - we can’t keep blaming Mahathir forever.
But let’s not pretend the issue is just a man.The policies, structures & patronage system built under Mahathir are still very much alive today. That’s the problem. You can’t say "move on" when the system hasn’t moved on.China reformed after Mao. They changed the model.
In Malaysia, we kept the model - just changed the people running it. The question is simple -
if we agree the past created distortions, why are the same structures still untouched today? This is not about fear of a 100-year-old man.
It’s about the lack of political will to dismantle what still benefits those in power.

YB Dr,Ahmad Maslan,
Isunya bukan siapa diberi peluang, tetapi siapa membina aset, ambil risiko, & scale perniagaan.
Kurangkan naratif perbandingan kaum.

Budget 2025 tekan rakyat.
Budget 2026 belanja lebih.
Budget 2027 loading - ulang skrip sama.
Setiap tahun cerita baru, masalah lama tak pernah selesai.
Ini bukan urus ekonomi - ini tutup lubang, tunggu bocor lagi.
