I created a bot on Telegram that you can ask anything & get A.I generated responses based on #ChatGPT
I’m thinking next stop is a WhatsApp Bot why? Because most of my people in Zimbabwe & most parts of Africa have WA data bundles (cheaper WA only access..story for another day)

@MikePFrank All it takes is one message to the people already using to the bot on telegram guiding them to a gumroad link +setting up a referral program(optional) , thats enough to have a solid long term customer base

@MoBrassi How long exactly do you think there would be no competition? I’m sure probably lots of people have GPT bot based businesses already. It just takes a one-line change to use v3 instead of v2

Having lots of fun with my GPT-3 powered telegram bot.
It's quite simple to fine-tune it using prompts, a new form of high-level programming language IMO.
#buildinpublic I could use a muse! what would you want a conversational chatbot to do for you?

English

@MikePFrank +you can easily find a partner to do the heavy lifting, having this bot as a subscription service while theres really no competition would be really profitable
English

@MoBrassi That’s cool, but to make a business out of it, I would have to go to some effort. You could always get a your own subscription to beta.OpenAI.com to cover your costs and deploy your own version of the bot, but it would still take some effort to set up.

@MikePFrank Unfortunately it isn’t available in my country, thats why I searched twitter for “telegram bot gpt3” and you were the first to pop up
English

@MikePFrank I can pay a monthly subscription idc lol, that bot really levelled up my life for a couple of days
English

@MoBrassi I’m glad you were enjoying it, but the level of usage intensity from you & others was starting to get expensive. GPT-3 access isn’t free (except for ChatGPT, and that will only be free temporarily probably).

@MikePFrank Yes alot of the links it generated were 404 , but i use it to answer basic questions related to med school and general info, it saved alot of time and worked like a charm
English

@MoBrassi It isn’t a search engine… half of the links it returns (at least) are probably hallucinated. It can’t actually access the web, you know
