The United Arab Emirates reaffirmed that food security is a top national priority and an integral part of broader national security frameworks, stressing the importance of proactive and flexible strategies to ensure supply chain stability and protect regional and global food systems from external factors and evolving geopolitical and climate conditions. This was highlighted in the UAE’s official address delivered by H.E. Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, affirmed that the UAE has moved beyond reactive crisis management, establishing a food security system built on proactive resilience and long-term preparedness. Her Excellency attributed this to the forward-looking vision of the UAE’s leadership and the integrated roles of relevant state entities. Her Excellency further stressed that securing supply chains and the sustainability of essential goods is a top priority for the country amid current challenges. Her Excellency’s visit to the facilities of Silal Group, a leader in the food and agricultural technology sector in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, focused on reviewing the efficiency of the supply chain infrastructure, its operational readiness, and the availability of the country’s strategic reserve of essential commodities. #MOCCAEUAE #UAE
