At the Summit on Trade, Business, and Investment in #Beijing, several MoUs were signed in the presence of PM #SheikhHasina between 🇧🇩 and 🇨🇳 companies on EVs, lithium battery, setting up a #SolarPark at Sylhet, #RenewableEnergy related industries, transportation of #CNG etc.

#Bangladesh has been elected Vice Chair of the 27th Council of International #RenewableEnergy Agency (@IRENA), the second highest body of the Agency comprising of 168 countries and the #EU.

The Govt has proposed to allocate Tk 30,317 Crore to the MoPEMR in the 2024-25 FY, which is 3.8% of the total budget. Of the proposed amount, Tk 29,230 crore will go the the Power Division, while Tk 1,087 crore has been allocated to the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.

The State Minister remarked- "AI will ease our daily activities. Tech will play vital role in building a knowledge-based society. Engineers should play responsible role in increasing the use of technology at every level in their respective fields of work".
