@ShekharGupta @SamPanigrahi23 The system - Government backed or a genuine private company should not let BluSmart to die. Lovely brand and we miss it more once it’s off-shelf. American companies on verge of collapse are cushioned by ecosystem; not to let the brand die off. India needs a look at it…!

The BluSmart situation is tough. Sad for everyone involved. But also a much-needed reality check for all of us in the ecosystem. I know what it feels like: - Investors lost money - Founders lost years of hard work - Employees lost stability - And customers lost a service they genuinely loved (Hope they get the money in Bluesmart wallet) But more than that, this has also dented trust in the ecosystem. You’ll now hear: “Yaad hai Blusmart ke saath kya hua tha?!” And, one might say that that’s the damage we can’t afford. But, let’s zoom out. Even global MNCs have had their meltdowns. What matters is how we as a country and ecosystem bounce back. The Indian startup ecosystem is resilient. We always rise stronger. And we will this time too. 🇮🇳 For all founders, here’s the biggest takeaway: Compliance and ethics aren’t boxes to tick. They’re the foundation. Being a CA, I’ve seen this up close: Clean books, Timely audits, Transparent reporting. All so called “not so cool tasks” make businesses sustainable. Aur bachpan mein parents ne sikhaya tha - Jo bhi karo, dil se karo. Par Galat na karo. Same rule applies in business too :) EQ, IQ & GQ (Governance Quotient) sab important hote hai. I hope more founders push for real due diligence, not just in finance, but in culture, operations, and responsibility. Because at the end of the day your vision matters. Your growth matters. But how you build matters just as much. Let’s use this as a reminder: To build not just fast, but right 🇮🇳🔥

There have been thousands of papers documenting cancer disparities. Let me summarize: if you're poor, you do worse. If you're a minority, you do worse, but this is probably mediated by being poor. No one has any good solutions. We actually don't need more of this research. It's a waste. If NIHD defunds it, that's a good thing. At some point, problem has been documented. Whether you want to do something about it is a different question. I've seen no proposed solution that actually will do anything of substance. Why? Because correcting patterns of poverty is very difficult and is not something that is done within medicine.

Really?? The truth is that, in large part, our poverty was a result of decades of colonial rule which systematically plundered the wealth of an entire subcontinent. Yet the most valuable possession we were robbed of was not the Kohinoor Diamond but our pride & belief in our own capabilities. Because the goal of colonisation—its most insidious impact—is to convince its victims of their inferiority. Which is why investing in BOTH toilets AND space exploration is not a contradiction. Sir, what going to the moon does for us is that it helps restore our pride & self-confidence. It creates belief in progress through science. It gives us the aspiration to lift ourselves out of poverty. The greatest poverty is the poverty of aspiration…

It appears that an invisible wave of COVID-19 has just passed. Vacccines and hybrid immunity have done a great job. Wastewater surveillance helps us "see" even the invisibles! The environmental surveillance should be a regular component of our healthcare system.

Completely agree, era for precisely choosing patients for LND for all GYN cancers will soon dawn. Biomarker stratification like has happened in Mol. classification for EC & SLN technique advances will lead the way...!

Excellent editorial on a fantastic study by @TataMemorial ! Interesting to note how ‘every percent change’ in DFS for breast cancer where treatment is multi-dimensional is a game-changer !
Sara Tolaney@stolaney1

Great editorial by @EMittendorfMD on the ability of peritumoral lidocaine administered before surgery to impact iDFS and OS in patients with early-stage breast cancer Interesting work by Badwe and colleagues. @DFCI_BreastOnc @OncoAlert #bcsm ascopubs.org/doi/10.1200/JC…
