Very disappointed to see @BillWigginMP proposing this amendment to the Environment Bill. The effect would be to undermine brilliant work already done by Herefordshire’s farmers, Welsh Water & businesses to reduce Phosphates in the river Wye & let development to recommence

This is (was) good quality Herefordshire soil on a reasonable slope. A disaster caused by: a super wet winter; cultivations up and down the slope; lack of cover; lacks organic matter and is probably compacted. This is what is killing our rivers and streams. It is an easy fix.
