It’s time to take a break! All BOCES 2 facilities will be closed starting tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024) for Thanksgiving recess and will reopen on Monday, Dec. 2. Enjoy a safe and restful holiday! 🍂

School Board Recognition Week (Oct. 14-18) increases understanding about the board's role in schools. The Monroe 2-Orleans Board of Cooperative Educational Services is comprised of a member from each component district. Thank you to the BOCES 2 Board for its continued support!

Honoring the history of exploration and the heritage of the Indigenous peoples who were here long before, Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES recognizes Columbus Day while celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day. BOCES 2 facilities are closed today (Oct. 14) and will reopen on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Yom Kippur, the most solemn of Jewish holidays, begins tonight (Oct. 11) at sundown and continues until sundown on Oct. 12. The day of fasting, forgiveness and reflection traditionally ends with the blowing of the shofar (a ram's horn). Learn more at ow.ly/2Ojl50THhPZ

It's the adults' turn to learn! 🍎 BOCES 2 is closed to students today (Oct. 11) for Superintendent's Conference Day. Classes will resume for students on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

Commemorating the freedom of slaves, Juneteenth honors the struggles and triumphs of Black Americans throughout history. 💚🖤❤️ The journey toward equality continues. In honor of the day, all BOCES 2 locations are closed today (June 19) and will reopen on June 20.
