Serbs value their independence and their country; that is why I say NO. 2: Depopulation and migration There would be a massive depopulation of Serbia, as well as large-scale migration from Africa and Asia into the country. Look at Romania or Bulgaria: they have lost a significant portion of their population and are experiencing uncontrolled migration. I say NO. 3: Security Let us examine the issue more closely. In some EU member states, security has become a major concern. Take France as an example: social insecurity is widespread, prisons are overcrowded, and unemployment remains a problem. There are also urban riots and clashes between neighborhoods, where French people of various backgrounds fight over trivial matters. Undocumented migrants also commit assaults.
