I don’t support racism at all, but Vinícius Júnior often puts himself in situations where backlash is inevitable. You can’t constantly provoke and disrespect opposition fans and then expect a friendly reaction. It’s annoying, unnecessary, and makes him an irritating player to watch

Vinicius scored the opener and celebrated in front of Benfica's fans, before words were shared between both sets of players on the pitch. The Brazilian, unhappy with something said to him, left the pitch and sat in the Real Madrid dugout, refusing to play. Minutes later, Vinicius returned to the pitch and play continued.
