Real fans of Home Free know exactly what we’re about. This country and our whole world needs to heal our divides, and we do that one person at a time. We do that by having conversations with those whom we may disagree. We do that by searching for what unites and brings us together in common humanity rather than what may divide us. Let’s make a goal together: this week, try to talk with at least one person you disagree with. See if you can find some common ground. When we get talkin, we often find that it’s a WHOLE lot more we have in common than apart. ❤️🇺🇸

@BillboardChris How about we trust the science? Executive functioning is STILL DEVELOPING past age 20 - so why don’t we allow children to explore but with guidance until they are adults and have the executive functioning ability to judge their own decisions?

@amanda_correl @GayRepublicSwag So - I would say that I love you regardless of the gender you identify as, and no matter your sexual orientation. That said, science tells me that your brain is still developing, & surgery is not the best option NOW. Keep talking and sharing and we will support your choices.

My 13 year old identifies as a boy. At home, this is not really accepted in regular conversation. We have younger kids at home as well. She’s home-schooled now, so it’s not much of a topic. I’m hoping it passes before she takes it too far, but she’s recently wanting to cover or hide that she’s obviously a female up top. We will absolutely not be taking her to doctors that push this as anything besides peer pressure, and needing proper therapy for life skills and fitting in. If she’s gay later, fine but we aren’t taking it as a lifestyle change this young.

Honest question! If you had a 13 year old child and they told you they were trans and wanted you to get them surgeries, what would you say?
