The aggressive rant in that video fuels valid frustrations in South Africa. Illegal immigration heavily strains jobs, public services, and security amid high unemployment. Yet, it is common to see Zimbabweans proudly boasting that they are illegal, going nowhere, and mocking that nothing can be done about it.
That rant escalates tensions instead of addressing the real root issues: Zimbabwe's economic failures driving migration, and South Africa's collapsing borders and job strains. Why are Zimbabweans taking out their frustrations on the wrong people?
Imagine calling South Africans "lazy" while bragging about being exploited. It shows zero awareness and zero dignity. They are not "hardworking"; they are borderline slave labour collapsing local wages and flaunting their own exploitation.
South Africans fought hard for equitable labour laws and a strict minimum wage across all sectors. Even domestic work has national union representation to ensure workers aren't cheated. In contrast, illegal Zimbabweans are happy to work for absolute breadcrumbs under the table just to stay off the deportation grid.
South Africans do not beg white employers like they do. We know the power of our constitutional rights. We hit non-compliant bosses where it hurts by demanding itemised payslips compliant with BCEA non-negotiables. Most Zimbabweans are simply easy to exploit because they have no papers, leaving them with no choice but to submit.
As for her boasts of "asiyindawo" and trying to paint Zimbabweans as dangerous? At least in that regard, she's just telling harmless jokes. Poor thing. 😆 🤣
