@FriedgeHNIC It would’ve been wild if Kessel could’ve been here during his prime instead of Marner. Two cups at least as an $8 million winger to complement the others. Same salty interviews as Marner (the few that he’d do) but he would’ve gone down as one of the greatest leafs ever.

Problem is that there isn’t a whole lot of literature for biceps femoris tendinitis out there, a lot of the rehab focuses on proximal.. my PT has been giving me gradual work, but I don’t feel like there’s progress until I try heavy

@Mr_AFoster @scottcarlinpt work at the 6 - 10 rep range. this is a tricky injury to treat and can take a while to improve. find a good PT who understands the injury. If they give you body weight exercises, find another PT. w/ heavy loading it will improve. Be patient and good luck !

Runners: What was your worst running injury and how did you overcome it?

@TrevorKeck @scottcarlinpt I am finding that lifting heavy weights especially targeting the part of the hamstring helps… I’ve wasted too much time already with resting (doesn’t help), ice (also doesn’t help), compression (helps slightly). With respect to “dosage” did you take NSAIDS? Been told not to.

@scottcarlinpt Hamstring tendonpathy. Problem was that multiple PTs misdiagnosed and once I self diagnosed, gave me bad advice about dosage / exercises to treat. Heavy deadlifts are critical. This is a tricky injury. I didn’t stop running but had to take a break from racing for many months.

@ProducerDrew_ Connor Brown, Kadri, Marchment, Hyman were all victim of over-coddling the top salaried roster players.. Marleau for a 1st was tough too.. though they may have to do that for Tavares eventually

For those tweeting me how Dubas never made a bad move (Here is a few): - Kadri for Barrie & Kerfoot - 3rd for David Rittich - 1st for Foligno - Signing Mrazek than having to use a 1st to offload him - Trading for McCann to protect Holl/Kerfoot in the expansion draft - Paying Marner $11m when that was no where near the market rate for RW - Marchment for Malgin He also made some great moves like acquiring Muzzin, O'Reilly, Schenn and Bunting etc... but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows He built a great roster but maybe the future could be even better?

@hockeyesque This no-goal might be more of a summary of Leafs lack of playoff success.. no net drive players to make sure that the puck is in the back of the net. The fact that Rielly is the one not afraid to go the front of the net might be more of a concern for the leafs here.
