Welcome back from March break! Yesterday was a great day with Leprechaun traps and word searches around the room

Our walk to the Ottawa Public Library was a success! We had a great circle with French stories and English Stories plus songs!

We are so lucky to have Gramma Jo come to our school today and share her teachings about talking sticks. Miigwetch Gramma Jo.

Today just before we went down to the Remembrance Day ceremony, we were lucky enough to see the CF-18 jets fly by in the missing man formation. We heard them before we saw them! @StMartinOCSB

Today we expressed our gratitude to Ms.Sadler our ECE on Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day. Students worked hard writing thank you cards in English and in French. @StMartinOCSB

Terry fox day!!! The kids were tired from running but had a blast. In the afternoon we also applied our tattoos.

Yesterday we celebrated le jour des Franco-Ontariens. We coloured Flags and made a list of all the French words we know after just a few weeks of school! 💚🤍

Today we practiced walking down the halls in our school. And we got to visit the office where all the important things go on. We also visited the learning commons and met Ms Caroline who is our librarian!

Multicultural day was a big success! Everyone enjoyed the classroom potluck, they even came for seconds!

Yesterday this little friend was the recipient of the Honesty and Justice certificate for showing these qualities in our classroom. Way to go!

Today was M for minis day! We brought little shopkins as they are small figures and they were a big hit. We talked about opposites like gros (big) et petit (small) and we had some my little ponies. Oh! And who could forget slime (oobleck)!

Our field trip was split into 2 days for the Owls but they had fun no matter which day they went! It was a great experience

Yesterday’s Games day was a big hit! I loved seeing all the cool games
