I've been out here for hours and it's not a fucking insurrection. It's residents out here in subzero temps furious that ICE is killing their neighbors and peacefully protesting as agents spray them with tear gas and rubber bullets.

With 10 days until our contract expires, our unit is not willing to settle for less. We're standing together until we reach a fair deal.

We received our first counterproposals from management today with disappointing language — including no guaranteed wage increases this year and rollbacks of hard-fought language on diversity and severance. We stand united and ready to fight for the contract we deserve.

10 years after first organizing, it's time to bargain for our *fourth* contract. We're prepared, we're united and we're locked in.
